I enjoy creating websites in my spare time, website work is not my full-time job. My full-time job is working for IBM as an IT project manager and software engineer. I do website work as a hobby. I have spent countless hours surfing the net viewing and buying from others' websites, so I feel very knowledgeable about designing what content and layout should go on a website.

My technical experience comes from many years in the IT industry as a programmer, software engineer, and technical team lead. I am very experienced in requirements gathering and being able to provide solutions for end users.

My website development knowledge is self-taught. I started playing with website development several years ago by building a personal website with photos and jokes to share with family and friends. Then I started building websites for friends' businesses. Now I build personal and small business websites for people mostly by referrals. I do not advertise my services, I prefer working by referrals only.

My rates are very reasonable due to my availability and delivery time. In addition, there are some website bells and whistles that I don't know how to do. I DO know how to optimize pages and graphics for fast loading. However I do not yet know flash technology. I DO know how to get your website on the popular search engines like Google.
